Meet Kim Dean

After graduating from Indiana University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing,  Entrepreneurship and New Business Venturing, Kim moved to Aubrey, Texas.  She was the business manager for the Tommy Manion Ranch for over 13 years.  It was at this magnificent breeding facility where she was educated by two of the top equine promoters and breeders in the Quarter Horse industry.  She credits Tommy Manion (Impressive, Pretty Impressive) and Hanes Chatham(Smart Little Lena) with teaching her successful breeding strategies as well as marketing game plans for both stallion and mare owners.

From years of studying bloodlines, she has become an invaluable source to mare owners in helping them choose the perfect stallion to complement their mare.   She has owned such stallions as AQHA Hall of Fame, A Good Machine plus other legendary sires including Certain Potential, Only In The Moonlite, Huntin For Chocolate and A Scenic Impulse (APHA).  Kim is also currently partnered with Courtney and Aaron Moses on multiple World and Reserve World Champion Sire, LL Cool Bay (A Good Machine x Zippo Erin-Reserve World Champion in Sr. Western Pleasure).

For almost 25 years, her goal has been to provide the highest quality customer service to each and every mare and stallion owner she meets.   Among some of the services she provides include: Facebook marketing, website management; semen shipping in the US and Canada; cooled, frozen and ICSI contract management; collections and receivables on breeding fees; stallion spreadsheets;  stallion breeding reports;  arranging advertising, etc.   Kim is the sole point of contact for the mare owner from choosing the stallion;  processing breeding contracts; taking semen orders; coordinating semen shipping via FedEx, on farm pickups and arranging courier service to the airports; and collaborating with mare managers and veterinarians to get difficult mares in foal.  When you call Kim, you'll get HER on the phone--she talks to all owners herself and answers calls 7 days a week--her excellent customer service is second to none.

If you're looking for new, innovative ways to market an already proven sire in order to attract more mares in a highly competitive industry, Kim's unique marketing strategies are unsurpassed.   She also excels in developing new stallions who have good bloodlines and show records and are just beginning their breeding careers.  For a free consultation with Kim about how to attract great mares to breed to your stallions, feel free to give her a call at 903-815-3347.

Meet The Stallion and Breeding Farm Manager, Keith Feister

Our Stallion Manager for The Breeding Barn is Keith Feister, owner of Brightstone Ranch which is set up specifically to care for stallions. Resident stallions have spacious, open stalls in the stallion barn and are turned out daily in large, grassy paddocks where they are able to exercise and have time to just be horses. Because he keeps the numbers of horses down at the ranch. they are able to provide more individual attention to those stallions that have special requirements to obtain peak breeding efficiency.  Our Stallion Manager can freeze semen on stallions for both domestic use and international export. He is familiar with, and his facility meets all the requirements for export to all foreign countries, including federal quarantine. As a rule, all stallions being frozen for the first time are test frozen, then thawed and examined for motility. Mares will also be test bred with this first freeze to ensure the semen is of sufficient quality to obtain a pregnancy.
